I’m not gonna lie…today kind of kicked my butt. I thought I was so ready with my camera, video camera and iPhone freshly charged. I had set out Dylan’s outfit, backpack with matching waterbottle, and school supplies. Then, the alarm went off and the next thing I remember her new first grade teacher was shutting the door saying see you at pick-up…and I didn’t even take any pictures!!! Somewhere between trying to compromise on a hairstyle with Dylan and fighting with Ty about forgetting the matching waterbottle (sorry babe), we ran out of time! I’m so glad I took some back-to-school pics last week when things were a little less hectic. Our little First Grader is growing up so fast. She is the sweetest, funniest little girl I’ve ever met and I hope she never looses her strong-willed personality (even if it means getting ready might be a battle every morning of first grade)! :)
Dave and Jessi had the kind of wedding that everyone dreams of. The day was beautiful, the venue was perfect, and the bride and groom simply glowed! Most importanly, they were surrounded by so many people that loved them wholeheartedly, that tears of joy and well-wishes seemed to flow freely throughout the day. It was an honor to document the wedding of such a beautiful couple and I wish them a lifetime full of health, happiness, and lots of fun together!
Emmery was a dream for her newborn session….curling up into any position we put her in! We were inside. We were outside. We used buckets, and even dressers!!! I LOVE that this family likes to have fun, and always finds a way to include their dog in at least one photo too (remember their maternity session featured here?). Much love to this beautiful family of three (well, four including Bentley). :)
Between today’s gloomy morning weather, and this newborn’s snuggly poses…I’m ready to crawl back into bed! Seriously, how cute and cuddly does he look? He was the perfect model, and one of my fastest newborn sessions to date. And the HAIR! I love it! I think he wins for most newborn hair ever!
I haven’t photographed a one-year session is a while, and I forgot how much fun they are! This is such a great age to capture…full of wonder and lots of smiles!!!
I hadn’t seen Lauren since her newborn photos, and it’s always amazing to see my newborns turn into active toddlers. I loved chasing her around, even though she was so fast! She definitely kept me on my toes! I apologize in advance for oversharing, but there were just too many cute ones from this session…
Sometimes I feel like this too at the end of a long session. :)
Before I can even mention how cute this baby boy is, can I just point out how fabulous his Mom looks??? THATDRESS! They are such a beautiful family, inside and out. Congratulations to the entire family!!!
If you are ever thinking of having your photo session at Mission San Juan Capistrano, PLEASE do it!!! The location is simply beautiful and it’s amazing to step back in time while staying right in Orange County. Check out this beautiful family session at the Mission…
The morning of this maternity session was gloomy and rainy, but you would never know it by these pics and Holland’s bright smile! The sun came out and this beautiful mama-to-be was just just glowing as we celebrated her baby bump with a few precious photos. Here are some of my favorites…
I haven’t photographed a 3-month-old in some time, and I forgot how fun these sessions are. Sophia was so cute with her big eyes and little facial expressions. I think she surprised herself when she pushed up on her tummy (and her arm rolls are the cutest around)! It was great to capture some of these sweet moments for such a great family. Here are a few favorites…
Love her little tongue sticking out!
Then we had a little visit from her new BFF. :)
This picture…this one right here…makes me want to have another baby to snuggle.
