I’m always amazed at how nice and respectful these kids are. You would think with four of them, they would be running around like crazy, but instead they are so sweet and always the perfect models! It must be because they have some pretty incredible parents! :) Thank you J Family for spending the afternoon with me…I always love seeing your gorgeous family!
I REALLY love this family, and have for years. They are always so much fun, and make my job easy (it doesn’t hurt that they look like they just stepped out of a magazine). BTW, if you are looking for the best pilates instructor in town, be sure to call/email Holly. She’s amazing! Here is her site: http://www.hollyhamel.com

Look at this little face! Isn’t he adorable? This baby boy was a dream to photograph…and it was so great to see his family again as I took his sister’s newborn photos just a couple of years ago. :) Thank you to the entire family for inviting back to capture your newest bundle of joy. Here are a few of my favorites…
“All we need is one good picture” is what Valerie kept saying. I think she was worried that I wasn’t getting any good ones because Mr. Giovanni didn’t exactly want to ‘pose’ for the camera. Instead, he wanted to do what all active toddler boys want to do…PLAY!!! Once we let him run around, the biggest smile with the cutest dimple had my camera clicking away like crazy!
Ashley’s Mom and Dad are the uber-talented, amazing owners of OC All Stars in Foothill Ranch! Already parents to two adorable little boys, they were super excited to welcome a beautiful baby girl into their family. Since this was their first girl, we decided to use lots of bows and pink colors throughout the entire session. :) Here are a few of my favs…
This session was kind of like a dream (until the last few frames…..only one child ended up in the ER, I promise)! This was the second year that the G family asked me to capture some special moments during their family vacation, and I love this new tradition! This summer they spent a week in Solvang, and the home they stayed at was GORGeous! I sometimes forget how beautiful the central coast is, but was quickly reminded as soon as I arrived and saw those amazing rolling hills their home overlooked.
We spent the afternoon capturing smiles on a fun horse swing, flying kites, and running around this enormous property. G family, I hope these images capture a beautiful part of your summer vacation. Thanks so much for inviting me along! :)
Okay, maybe that’s a little dramatic, but my camera definitely broke my fall as I was leaving a shoot this weekend. You may or may not know, but I also photograph real estate for a few local agents. Yesterday as I was leaving a property, I tripped over a crack in the sidewalk and went down…hard. So hard that a car driving by stopped in the middle of the street to see if I was okay! The only reason I didn’t hit my head was that my camera was on a strap around my neck and acted as a buffer between me and the pavement. Even though the skin from my left elbow is still on that sidewalk, my camera doesn’t even have a scratch on it. Moral of this story…buy Nikon. It’s tough, completely klutz-proof, and may someday save your life too. :)
