I love, love, love seeing this family every year! The kids seemed so much this time around, but were as cute and fun as always (and I love that Emma has turned into my own little personal assistant)! :) This year’s session was at the South Coast Botanic Garden which I had never been to before and have to thank Kelly for finding. It was the perfect backdrop for our morning playdate!
It’s always such honor to be asked to document a couple’s wedding day. The love that surrounded Don and Kelly on this day was simply beautiful. They were married at the San Diego Botanic Garden, which proved to be a gorgeous backdrop for every. single. photo. Kelly amazed me with how calm she seemed to be throughout the day, and everytime I looked at Don he had a huge smile on his face! Clearly, they were both excited to become husband and wife. As the wedding flowed into the evening hours, there were speaches filled with tears, loud outbursts of laughter, and lots of dancing! Thank you to this entire amazing family for allowing me to be a part of such a special day. XO!
I’ve known Aly since college, but haven’t seen her in many years. So it was so amazing to not only see her again, but to meet her husband and three children! Life has definitely changed just a little bit since when we would hang out back at the sorority house…for the better! :) It was wonderful to see you all and I hope you enjoy your images…
To answer your questions in advance: Yes, this Mom really has four kids and still looks this amazing…and No, it isn’t fair! :)
It had been raining off and on all day and was actually raining just about 20 minutes before the beginning of our session. I thought we were going to have to cancel, but then the sun started to peek through the clouds and we had the most beautiful light for our afternoon together. I can’t believe how lucky we got with the weather!
All I can say is beautiful light + a beautiful family = 1 happy photographer! Thank you J Family for allowing me to photograph you all again this year!!!
I’m so excited because this amazing family is having a little girl in just a few weeks. That means our baby girls will be only a few months apart and THAT means I have a firend to text when I’m up all night for feedings and another Mom to commiserate with through the first few months share newborn stories with. :) Love you guys and can’t wait for our girls to meet each other!
What can I say? When you have a gorgeous family (inside and out) AND beautiful light, it’s like magic for a photographer. I look forward to seeing this family everytime they book a session, and although it’s bittersweet to watch these girls growing up in front of my lens I feel honored to have photographed them throughout the years! Thank you all for being a part of this year’s Fall Mini Sessions, and for another great afternoon together. :)
Gage is undoubtably one handsome little dude! The hard part is, catching him for long enough to snap a pic before he takes off to his next adventure. :) He is definitely all boy, which explains his love for all things Star Wars! He was very excited to show me his new Stars Wars back to school supplies, and couldn’t have been any cuter during our session! This little man is off to Pre-K, and let’s just say the force is definitely with him!
I LOVE that Croft’s Mom had everything pink, girly and princess-like ready to go for this newborn session! Beautiful Croft was surreounded by tiaras, tutus, a Princess and the Pea set-up and of course lots of love (including some kisses from one of their pups)! Cher, it was so great to see you again! Thanks for inviting me over. You have two of the cutest kiddos I’ve ever seen!
This little beauty was so sweet to photograph. She was a great sleeper and gave us a few smiles along the way. :) In fact, the entire family couldn’t have been any nicer. It was such a pleasure to meet you all! Congratulations again and I hope you enjoy your images of your precious baby girl…
