If you’re like me, you LOVE your little one’s sweet face in their school pictures, but cringe at the cheesy 1980’s background. Last year I took some photos of Dylan in her back-to-school outfit a few days before she started back and promised to make it a yearly tradition. As I started thinking about this year’s pics, I realized that it was a great opportunity to tell my clients THANKYOU, THANKYOU, THANKYOU for supporting this little business of mine. SO….
This year I am offering FREE Back-To-School Mini’s for 10 kiddos (yes, you read that right)!!! If you want your kids to participate, please email me asap to reserve your spot before they are gone:
In the subject line, type ‘Back To School Minis’ and then in your email, let me know how many kids you would like to have photographed. The first 10 names I receive via email will get 5 free digital images!!!
Here’s the fine print:
Back-To-School Mini’s will be on August 17th in Ladera Ranch from 5pm-7:30pm (times will be assigned on a first come/first serve basis and no make-up days or times will be available)
Sessions will last 10-15 minutes for each child
Themed props will be available for use including a toddler desk, chalkboard to write the grade level/teacher’s name/school name, and more (please also fee free to bring special items like a backpack or lunchpail that you want to remember at this stage in your child’s life)
These minis are designed for school-aged children starting at preschool age
The minis are only for past clients (must have had a session with Heidi Bolles Photography previously)
Approx. 2-3 weeks after the minis, each child will receive 5 edited digital images (photographer’s choice…no proofing gallery)
Again, I hope you all know how appreciative I am for each session that you book with me, and this is my little way of saying thank you for your continued support!!! :)
This session is one of my new favorites since we were able to get so many great images of handsome Preston AND so many beautiful family photos!!! I love when Moms and Dads will step in front of the camera too, and this is why…
Love baby smiles…
Ummm…I can’t believe that Preston is not only looking at the camera, but SMILING! He is going to be one smart boy! Congratulations to this wonderful family of three. :)
Last night we tucked in our little four-year-old girl and this morning we woke up to a VERY excited FIVE-YEAR-OLD who was ready to celebrate!!! June is always such a busy month for us with tons of birthdays, our wedding anniversary, Father’s Day, Graduation, and dance recitals… that it never really hits me that Dylan is turning another year older until the day of her birthday. I’ve been staring at her all day long and I can’t figure out where the past five years have gone.
As Dylan ran to the table this morning I could barely get in one photo before she started opening presents (didn’t even have my contacts in yet, but at least I got one shot)!
Then we were off to Build-a-Bear for a fun birthday suprise! Those workers that sing for you there and make such a huge deal about stuffing those animals deserve a medal!!!
Snuck in a little Monster’s University after that (instantly regretted the ‘tub’ of popcorn, sour candy, and ice cream that we somehow we got talked into by the birthday girl). Oh, and thanks iphone for the amazing photo!!!
When we were finally back home, it was time for a little princess cake and I LOVED Dylan’s expression when she saw it! These are the moments every parent hopes for right?
I am so excited for the year ahead, and hope it’s full of all the wonderful things you could possibly wish for. :)
Happy Birthday Dylan! We love you sooooooooooooooo much!!! Now it’s time for Mommy to go eat the rest of your cake clean up after your birthday celebration! :)
I’m so excited to FINALLY be blogging this newborn session! I went to both high school and college with Kevin and it is amazing to see him now as a proud parent alongside his beautiful wife. Obviously amazing parents have amazing kids, and Mateo is just that!!! So happy to have been able to capture Mateo as a newborn…
One of the best (and at the same time hardest) parts of being a parent is watching our kids grow up. Dylan definitely seems to be zooming through life all of a sudden. In fact, I still can’t believe it but today was her last day of preschool. As Ty and I went to pick her up, I was preparing to be an emotional wreck. For some reason though, I wasn’t. Hearing her say she is so excited to be a BIG kid in a Kindergarten room made me excited for all the fun adventures ahead. We are so proud of the beautiful and sweet girl she is becoming! Happy Preschool Graduation Day to our big girl. :)
…and for family members that want to have a good cry with me…click on the link below to see the video I made of Dylan’s first year (baby photos get me every time). :)
WARNING…picture overload ahead! I’ve been waiting and waiting to share these images from my first-ever Stylized Shoot. It was amazing!!! Gorgeous models, hair and make-up, and of course THEBEST rentals and styling around! Huge thank you to everyone involved. Hope you enjoy the photos!
Well, Mr. Drew was just a newborn when I saw him last. Now he is such a big boy, and full of so much joy! I love his big smile…it’s definitely contagious!!! Thanks to the entire family for such a fun day at the park, and I and can’t wait to see you all again later this year!!! :)
Although I absolutely love soft neutral colors for newborns, when I have a Mom asking for bright colors it instantly makes me happy! Sweet little Lauren was surrounded by bright purple, turquoise and yellow colors throughout this session and I love how the photos turned out! She was such a sweet and beautiful baby, sleeping the entire time even though she was already over two weeks old. Thank you C family for having me over and allowing me to capture this precious time. Here are a few of my favorites…
Lately I’ve been falling more and more in love with photographing weddings. Watching two people begin their lives together surrounded by family and friends simply makes my heart happy. I was a VERY happy girl a couple weeks ago when I was able to second shoot alongside Jamie from Jamie B. Photography. We documented a beautiful day for an equally beautiful couple. Here are some of my favorites…
These gorgeous ladies definitely brightened my day at a time when it was much needed. I loved their laid-back attitude and the fact that they were up for anything. Thanks for making my job easy…and fun! I hope you enjoy your pics. :)
